Maurice Lacroix has launched the exciting new Benzilla #tide Aikon watch. The timepiece was unveiled at the opening of the new Maurice Lacroix boutique in Bangkok that was held on 1st July 2022. This release is a totally unexpected design from the brand that normally specialises in sleek and simple designs. This makes it a great choice for people who are searching for a statement piece with the high-quality manufacturing that the brand is famed for. The vibrant colours and bold design of the timepiece make this watch really stand out from others in the brand’s portfolio. The watch has been created in conjunction with Thai artist and ML crew member, Benzilla. The timepiece unites the worlds of street art and watchmaking in a totally unique design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Exciting New Benzilla #tide Aikon Watch<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The new model is part of Maurice Lacroix’s well-loved Aikon collection. It shares many of the attributes that have made this timepiece design so popular. The watch is built with Swiss quality, absolute precision and injected with a unique air of urban styling. Additionally, this model has been created as part of the brand’s ongoing collaboration with #tide<\/a>, meaning that the creation of this watch has had a positive environmental impact. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The multicoloured artwork features shades of yellow, blue, orange, pink and white to create a truly eye-catching focal point. The dial is adorned with simple black hour, minute and second hands alongside a small date display. The features are minimalistic so that they do not detract from the artwork. These details are all protected under a layer of flat sapphire crystal. This material will provide the watch with some additional durability. It is made from #tide recycled ocean plastic. It takes 17 ocean-bound plastic bottles to be recycled to create a single one of these watches. This means that the creation of these timepieces has had a massively positive effect on the ocean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The watch is secured on the wrist using a bold light blue rubber strap that is detailed with an orange ‘M’ logo to tie into the design of the case. This strap will be comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
