Michel Herbelin are celebrating their 70th anniversary with the release of the ‘Inspiration 1947’. The French watch brand are releasing the manually wound watch as a limited edition and there will be only 500 pieces made so if you are a Maurice Lacroix collection this is definitely a watch you do not want to miss!<\/p>\n
This beautifully constructed watch is powered by a manually wound mechanical Sellita movement which compliments the vintage 1945 style of the watches design, inspired by the watches made in Charquemont, Eastern France in its first few years.<\/p>\n
The ‘Inspiration 1947’ is 40mm in width and has a domed sunburst silver dial set in a gold-plated steel case. There is a date display at the 3 o’clock position on the watches face and the hour hands and markers are pointed to a precise tip which helps display the time as accurately as possible.<\/p>\n

Pour comm\u00e9morer sept d\u00e9cennies de passion horlog\u00e8re, nous \u00e9ditons une montre anniversaire en s\u00e9rie limit\u00e9e \u00e0 500 exemplaires num\u00e9rot\u00e9s pour le monde. Baptis\u00e9 \u00ab Inspiration 1947 \u00bb, ce nouveau garde-temps, rythm\u00e9 par un mouvement m\u00e9canique \u00e0 remontage manuel, rend hommage au pass\u00e9 tout en embellissant le pr\u00e9sent. . . Un style sous influence Tout en nous inspirant naturellement du design des montres con\u00e7ues au d\u00e9but de notre histoire, entre 1947 et 1950, nous avons travaill\u00e9 minutieusement chaque d\u00e9tail de cette pi\u00e8ce anniversaire, pour l\u2019inscrire dans le 21\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Pr\u00e9sentant un diam\u00e8tre de 40 mm, le bo\u00eetier arbore une carrure toute en rondeur, prolong\u00e9e par des cornes simples et \u00e9pur\u00e9es. R\u00e9alis\u00e9 en acier plaqu\u00e9 or jaune poli, il r\u00e9hausse, par sa couleur, le cadran bomb\u00e9, prot\u00e9g\u00e9 par un verre saphir \u00e9galement galb\u00e9. Par\u00e9 d\u2019un fond argent mat soleill\u00e9, celui-ci renforce la sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 du mod\u00e8le avec ses deux aiguilles de forme \u00ab dague \u00bb finement courb\u00e9es, parcourant une minuterie clairement agenc\u00e9e, au rythme d\u2019index en applique dor\u00e9s. Compl\u00e9t\u00e9 discr\u00e8tement d\u2019un guichet date \u00e0 3 heures, il affiche un compteur petite seconde dont le d\u00e9pouillement graphique r\u00e9veille subtilement le classicisme de l\u2019ensemble.
