The watches from Rado’s Great Gardens Of The World collection have a significantly different design to the brand’s typically more minimalistic style. Below we explore the inspiration behind the collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Great Gardens of The World<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Great Gardens of the World is a network of historical international gardens. Spread across all continents, the gardens are a way to not only share but preserve culture. The network allows for both lovers of art and gardening to get inspired. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through their newest collection, Rado aims to capture the beauty of nature and synthesize it into a timepiece. The brand’s previous collection inspired by nature was in collaboration with the Grandi Giardini Italiani. With this new release, however, Rado is expanding its horizons. Inspired by gardens from all over the world, Rado’s Great Gardens Of The World collection tries to embody a beauty that cannot be contained. When designing this line, the brand did not only rely on aesthetics. The movement and mechanisms powering the watch are as equally important. All models in this line b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This model is elegant and refined. The watch’s 40 mm case and the bracelet are both made of black ceramic. The silhouette of the watch has remained true to that of the True Thinline range. Diamonds are set into the black mother of pearl dial. Contrasting it are also a set of rose-gold hands. The dial also features a gold floral design. A date display is placed at the 3 o’clock position. In addition sapphire crystal protects the dial. The watch is also water-resistant up to 5 bars or 50 meters. The model is powered by an automatic movement. Furthermore, it has an impressive power reserve of up to 80 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Rado True watch is similar in design and style to the above timepiece. At the same time the models do have some subtle, and not so subtle, yet distinctive differences. The ceramic bracelet and case are a vibrant turquoise colour. The turquoise mother-of-pearl dial is contrasted by yellow gold hands and silver-coloured flowers. The watch features a date display at the 3 o’clock position. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters or 5 bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This model is perhaps the most glamourous in the line. The watch is made of black ceramic. The dial is sectioned. The larger outer ring of the display is made of black mother of pearl. In addition, the central dial is black and bordered by diamonds. Oak leaves have been carved into the mother of pearl section of the dial. As with the other two timepieces, the indices are replaced by diamonds for a more high-class luxurious look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
