It has been an incredible year for us here at First Class Watches \u2013 but it isn’t over yet! 2015 ended with our first television ad campaign and 2016 is ending with something even more exciting!<\/p>\n

First Class Watches has been nominated for Online Watch Retailer of the Year in the WatchPro Awards 2016. This prestigious award recognises the best watch retailers who only trade online and do not have a physical store. In today’s article we’ll have a look at the WatchPro Awards 2016, the event that watch industry insiders in the UK are looking forward to.<\/p>\n

What is the WatchPro Awards 2016<\/h2>\n

\"WatchPro<\/a><\/p>\n

The WatchPro Awards 2016 is taking place on the 26th<\/sup> of October at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre at 7PM. The event was set up by watch magazine WatchPro in order to celebrate the achievements of the best watch retailers in the UK. There will be twelve awards handed out to the biggest and best watch retailers in the UK in the following catagories (taken from the WatchPro website):<\/p>\n

Independent Fashion Retailer of the Year <\/b>(retailers with less than 8 stores)<\/p>\n

Multiple Fashion Retailer of the Year<\/b> (retailers with 8 stores or more)<\/p>\n

Independent Luxury Retailer of the Year<\/b> (retailers with less than 8 stores specialising in watches costing \u00a31,000 and above)<\/p>\n

Multiple Luxury Retailer of the Year <\/b>(retailers with 8 stores or more specialising in watches costing \u00a31,000 and above)<\/p>\n

Independent Volume Retailer of the Year<\/b> (retailers with less than 8 stores specialising in volume watch brands)<\/p>\n

Multiple Volume Retailer of the Year <\/b>(retailers with 8 stores or more specialising in volume watch brands)<\/p>\n

Department Store of the Year<\/b><\/p>\n

Online Retailer of the Year<\/b><\/p>\n

Multi-Channel Retailer of the Year<\/b><\/p>\n

Innovative Retailer of the Year<\/b><\/p>\n

How To Find Out The Winners at the WatchPro Awards 2016<\/h2>\n

\"WatchPro<\/a><\/p>\n

The most appealing way to find out the winners is to attend the WatchPro Awards ceremony on the 26th<\/sup> of September at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. Attendees will receive a three-course meal, a champagne reception and a free bar all night. Certainly a fitting event for all of the hard working people in the watch industry to celebrate their success throughout 2016. Tickets for the WatchPro Awards 2016 ceremony are still available costing \u00a3300 each or \u00a33,000 for a table of ten.<\/p>\n

But for those of you who cannot make the event following @WatchProAwards<\/a> on Twitter will be a good place to keep up to date on all the news from the event that every watch industry insider is looking forward to. First Class Watches Incredible Year<\/h2>\n

After an incredible end to 2015 with First Class Watches first TV ad you would be forgiven for thinking that things couldn’t get much better. But 12 months later and the only way continues to be up for First Class Watches. Many new brands have been added to the vast list of brands carried by First Class Watches, including a range of quality smartwatches and luxury brands.<\/p>\n

But most impressively, First Class Watches were included in WatchPro’s Hot 100<\/a> in the Retail Titans category. This was an incredible achievement for an online retailer which was only launched 12 years ago. At the time, managing director Jamie Brown stated that \u201cI want First Class Watches to become a household name!\u201d And if things continue in the way that they have in 2016, few would bet against that becoming a reality!<\/p>\n

Of course, 2016 isn’t over just yet and \u2013 with the Christmas rush soon to come \u2013 there is a lot more that this year might bring for First Class Watches. At the minute all eyes with be on the WatchPro Awards 2016 to see if First Class Watches can win the WatchPro Award for Online Watch Retailer of the Year.<\/p>\n

So, up until the 26th<\/sup> of October we’ll ask you to keep your fingers crossed that First Class Watches will be heading home with a prestigious WatchPro Award!<\/p>\n
