The largest ever specimen of morganite was found on the 7th<\/sup> October 1989. It was mined in a town named Buckfield in Maine, USA. The stone measured 30cm in length and weighed 50 pounds. The largest was named the \u201cRose of Maine\u201d and now resides in Harvard\u2019s mineral museum<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
