In 2021, Seiko<\/a> launched the Seiko Prospex \u2018Tortoise\u2019 Land Edition. This new model was inspired by Seiko\u2019s long standing and popular diving watch that was fondly nicknamed the \u2018Turtle\u2019 by the brand\u2019s fans. The watch was named for its iconic shell-like profile. This new watch from Seiko combines a professional look with a selection of high-quality specifications. Each of the Seiko Prospex \u2018Tortoise\u2019 Land Edition watches has been designed to meet the high standards required in extreme environments to ensure for a robust and long-lasting watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nCollection<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each\nof the Seiko Prospex \u2018Tortoise\u2019 Land editions watches is powered by a calibre\n4R35 movement. This movement can be powered using automatic and manual winding\nallowing it a power reserve of up to 41 hours. This impressive power reserve ensures\nthat the watch is the perfect companion for the wearer on any kind of\nadventure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Seiko<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The\niconic case shape of Seiko\u2019s \u2018Turtle\u2019 has been carried into the design of the \u2018Tortoise\u2019.\nEach model features a stainless steel case that measures 11.74mm in thickness,\n42.4mm in diameter and 45.17mm in length. The models each come with straps in\ndifferent colours and fabrics with a lug width of 20mm. The case of each of the\nwatches in the collection features the crown in the 4 o\u2019clock position. This ensures\nthat it does not put pressure on the back of the wearer\u2019s hand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nhands and indices of each of the Seiko Prospex \u2018Tortoise\u2019 Land Edition watches\nare treated with Lumibrite to ensure that the dial is easily readable, even in\nthe dark. The 60-minute scale bezel of the \u2018Turtle\u2019 has been updated with a\nrotating compass bezel, giving the watch an additional utility. Each of the\ndials has a date aperture placed between the 4 and 5 o\u2019clock position on the dial.\nSapphire glass protects each dial and each of the models is water resistant up\nto 200 metres (20 bar). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nmodel features a tan dial with tan hands and indices. The hands and indices are\nluminescent to ensure for optimal readability in all lights. A green to grey\ngradient compass bezel surrounds the dial. This model is finished with a green\ncanvas strap for a military style look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SRPG18K1<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This\nSeiko Prospect \u2018Tortoise\u2019 Land Edition has a brown dial. Cream indices and\nhands complement the neutral shade of the dial and stand out so that they are\nclear and easy to read. This model features a rose gold plated case for a\nmodern and bold look. The watch is finished with a dark brown calfskin leather strap\nthat features brown stitching. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nwatch has a black dial that is pleasantly contrasted by cream hands and baton\nindices. A black bezel surrounds the dial, and the watch is secured to the\nwrist with a black calfskin strap. The strap is detailed with contrast\nstitching and fastened with a pin buckle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
