One of the newest additions to the brand\u2019s portfolio is the Spirit collection. Released in 2020, the Spirit collection is inspired by 20th century pilot\u2019s watches. The line was created in homage to aviation pioneers such as Amelia Earhart and Howard Hughs. With these models Longines is hoping to inspire a new age of exploration with the collection. This Spirit watch retains many of the characteristics of historical pilot\u2019s watches. A definite must-have for any aviation enthusiast. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is stainless steel and measures 40 mm. It\u2019s crown is large, which historically made it easier for pilot\u2019s to handle when wearing gloves. The sleek black dial is contrasted by large luminescent indices and hands. The watch is water resistant to 10 bars or 100 metres. It has a date\u00a0 aperture at 3 o\u2019clock. A COSC certified chronometer is also featured on the watch. It has a monocrystalline silicon balance spring. The dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
