Nautische Instrumente M\u00fchle Glash\u00fctte has announced the release of its Teutonia Sport II in racing green. The brand\u2019s connection to racing and automobile design begins back in the 1920s. This legacy of manufacturing car clocks and speedometers is what M\u00fchle Glash\u00fctte<\/a> has turned to when designing the Teutonia Sport II. A desire to stand out and showcase its individuality is what motivates the brand to stay ahead of the competition and what ultimately makes it exceptional. Striving to create a timepiece which would be the perfect companion in any situation, M\u00fchle Glash\u00fctte\u2019s values of precision, robustness and readability shine through in each model they design.

\"\ufeffThe<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The new Teutonia Sport II in racing green is no exception. The watch benefits from a sporty design, a traditional British racing colour palette and M\u00fchle Glash\u00fctte\u2019s values. Its case measures at 41.6 mm in diameter and is made of stainless steel with a mix of polished and brushed finish. Its dial is sectioned with the outer raised ring being coloured in british racing green, as an homage to racing lovers. British racing green is more than a colour and holds a special place in history. The first time it was used was in 1903 during the Gordon Bennett Cup held in Ireland. This deep rich colour was chosen to honour the host country and as the colours of the UK flag, blue, red and white, had already been used by other countries. The colour soon became a staple of British racing cars. Since the 1970s, however, the colour hasn\u2019t been used very often. For vintage car lovers, the hue has turned into a marker of an outstanding historical period.

\"lifestyle<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The center dial is matte black. It features a grey small second\u2019s subdial with a light green hand at 9 o\u2019clock and an elongated date aperture at 3 o\u2019clock giving the dial a dashboard-like tone. Its minute scale is in similar green to the subdial hand. The applied indices and the hands are filled with Super-LumiNova. An anti-glare sapphire crystal encases the dial. The watch is water-resistant up to 10 bars or 100 metres. A screw-in crown increases its water resistance. The calibre on the model is a SW 290-1 Muhle. Its automatic movement has a power reserve of up to 38 hours. It features a woodpecker neck regulation, stop-second and fast date correction.
