Seiko<\/a> opened up the world’s first \u201cSeiko Premium Boutique\u201d on July 29th<\/sup> in Tokyo. The boutique is situated in the Ginza shopping district and is the first shop to carry Seiko’s three premium brands exclusively; Grand Seiko, Credor and Galante.<\/p>\n

Opening The World’s First Seiko Premium Boutique<\/h2>\n

The ribbon was cut by popular multi-talented Chinese-American celebrity Wang Leehom who has served as Seiko’s brand ambassador since 2011. He has enjoyed success as a singer-songwriter, record producer, actor and film director.<\/p>\n

After he cut the ribbon he entered the Seiko Premium Boutique and became its first customer, enjoying the top quality products available inside. Including the Credor Spring Drive Minute Repeated which sells for a whopping \u00a5<\/span><\/span><\/span>33,000,000 (approx \u00a3170,183!)<\/p>\n

Wang Leehom was certainly impressed,<\/p>\n

“It is my great honor to have a chance to attend this festive occasion in the centre of Tokyo. I was deeply impressed with Seiko’s masterpieces such as Credor Minute Repeater. They are true culmination of legendary Japanese craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies,\u201d he said at the post-opening ceremony press conference.<\/p>\n

The press conference was held at Wako, which is the store underneath the world famous Hattori Clock Tower, which still remains as a homage to Seiko founder Kintar\u014d Hattori<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Showcasing our prestigious collections, this boutique will offer a true window to the Seiko world and visitors will experience the uniqueness of Seiko’s craftsmanship and Japanese hospitality,”said Shinji Hattori, president of Seiko.<\/p>\n

The press conference was attended by Seiko’s top six master craftsman, who hand-crafted watches which will be on display at the Seiko Premium Boutique. The Seiko Premium Boutique will also host special occasions where the craftsmen will show off their award-winning skills.<\/p>\n

Seiko are known worldwide for producing a wide range of top quality watches. From high-end luxury timepieces like the ones at the Seiko Premium Boutique, to quality affordable watches for everyday wear \u2013 and everything in between.<\/p>\n
