Now two years after its initial release the line has a brand new addition the ICE-SAR Arctic 1003.ICE.

\"The<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Luminox was founded in 1989 with the intent to create watches with the highest calibre luminosity. This model, as well as the rest of the ICE-SAR collection, has been inspired by Iceland and its landscape. Created to suit the need of the Icelandic search and rescue teams the functionalities on this watch showcase the full extent of Luminox\u2019s attention to detail.

In order to be able to combat any challenge on water and on land the watch\u2019s 46 mm case is made of the brand\u2019s patented CARBONOX material. Made of carbon powder the material is scratch resistant and extremely lightweight, 3 times lighter than titanium and 6 times lighter than steel. It is resistant to extreme changes in temperature ensuring comfortable wear through any climate condition. The case features crown protection to increase the durability of the model. The watch\u2019s case back is made of stainless steel. A blue genuine rubber strap with a textile inlay adds to the comfort of the timepiece. The strap is secured with a signature CARBONOX buckle.

\"The<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A sapphire with anti-reflection coating protects the sandblasted blue dial. Its texture has been inspired by the lava fields which cover almost 30% of Iceland\u2019s land. The CARBONOX bezel is similar to the bezel on the rest of the collection, and the ICE-SAR logo inspires its shape. The dial is contrasted by large white Arabic-numeral hour markers and partially skeletonized watch hands. A date aperture features at the 3 o\u2019clock position. Red detailing on the dial and the bezel adds interest to the design. The watch is water-resistant up to 200 metres or 20 bars. It features a self-powered illumination which lasts up to 25 years in any conditions. The watch has a Swiss-made Quartz movement RONDA 515 HF 6.
