If you read our blog regularly then you may have already seen some of our posts pairing watches with specific fashion styles. Today we are taking a closer look into alternative fashion and the watches that fit the darker, enigmatic and alluring style of Birmingham’s underground music scene. We have recently caught up with a local band from Birmingham, Treeherder. Treeherder is an alternative rock band that started in 2016 with the intention of making epic music and celebrating their unique style in the West Midlands and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are already well acquainted with the music scene of Birmingham then you may have heard of Metal to the Masses, which is a yearly competition that accepts bands from all over the UK to compete for a place in the Bloodstock festival which took place earlier this month. Treeherder competed this year and were one of the finalists. Before they played the final gig, we managed to snap a few shots of them styling some of our alternative brands including, Jean Paul Gaultier, Thomas Sabo and Harley Davidson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treeherder\u2019s bassist, Neil, Is styling the bold and handsome Harley Davidson. It is comprised of a thick black leather strap and silver stainless steel dial which is suited to those that like to make a statement with their attire. We would recommend styling this watch with other black leather accessories for a look that will help you stand out on stage as well as on more casual occasions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas Sabo Men’s Rebel With Karma Stainless Steel Black Leather<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Drummer, Alex, is wearing the dark and alluring Karma watch by Thomas Sabo. If you are familiar with Thomas Sabo’s Karma collection then you may already know the finer details when it comes to the unique style of this range. Unlike the bohemian style that many of the other Karma watches present, this watch shows off a darker look, highlighted by the skull bead crown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lead guitarist and Vocalist, Scott, is wearing a slim and detailed timepiece crafted by Jean Paul Gaultier. This french watch brand are well known for their edgy and grunge style which is well suited to the alternative scene. The highlight of this watch is the tattoo print style on the dial. Combined with black leather this watch will make a great addition to any rockers attire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
