When we think of modern watch makers, our immediate assumption is that it would be from a German, Swiss or Japanese watch brand. However, back in the 1800’s half of the watches being made were actually from British watchmakers. With that in mind we have selected 5 women’s British watch brands that might just take your fancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Elliot<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Elliot Brown<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Elliot Brown is a watch brand that was founded by Ian Elliot, also the founder of the clothing brand Animal<\/a>. He collaborated with Alex Brown, Animal’s watch designer to form the watch brand that is popular today. Elliot Brown originally started producing watches for men, however, in recent years their collection has grown, also creating watches for women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jack Wills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Jack Wills are a clothing and watch brand that began back in 1999. It started as a single shop in the seaside town of Salcombe and has evolved into an internationally recognised brand. Their watch collection matches the style of their clothing collection, focusing on a prep, university style that is suited to a range of different ages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cath Kidston<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cath Kidston is a global brand that is defined by feminine and floral prints. The Cath Kidston range is iconic, easily recognised and extremely popular. Their watch collection compliments their overall range with the same signature floral and bold colours. Their watches are a brilliant accessory for both spring and summer and for an affordable price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Radley\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Radley<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Radley established themselves in 1984, founded by former arcitect, Lowell Harder. The brand is iconic for the logo which can be seen across the majority or their designs which is a scottie dog. The logo appeared on all of their accessories in the 2000’s, Harder inspired by seeing a woman in a black coat and red hat walking a black dog with a red collar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ted Baker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ted Baker began back in 1987 and since then has been one of the fastest growing lifestyle brands. The first Ted Baker store opened in Glasgow in 1988 and then more stores followed throughout the UK. Ted Baker is now a desired luxury brand, their watches and clothing collection is glamorous and sophisticated, perfect for a wide range of different fashion styles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
