What Are Casio G-Shock Watches?<\/h2>\n

Casio G-Shock are already known for the incredibly strong, durable range of stylish watches which have been\u00a0produced since 1983. Two of the incredibly popular watches in that range are the Casio G-Shock GA-100-1A1ER Chronograph<\/a> and the Casio Bluetooth 4.0 GB-6900B-1BER Smartwatch<\/a>. Casio G-Shock watches are popular with sports stars, including pro skateboarders, which explains why they would want to work with\u00a0HUF.<\/span><\/p>\n

Huf was founded in 2002 by professional skateboarder Keith Hufnagel when he opened up a boutique in San Francisco. His shop was so popular that he decided to open his own clothing line. The HUF brand is known for a unique range with vintage designs, accompanied by casual graphics and slogans. Hufnagel is still involved with the production of HUF products and the range is made for skateboarders, by skateboarders.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Is HUF & Casio Watch?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Casio G-Shock GD400HUF-1 is built on the original Casio G-Shock GD400<\/a> which is inspired by skateboarding. The Casio G-Shock GD400 is shock resistant, splash resistant and is extremely durable. It also has a LED backlight (super illuminator)with a 3 dial face, countdown timer, world time and a full auto calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n

The HUF edition of the watch includes all of the functionality of the original Casio G-Shock. It includes the HUF logo on the case back and a cool strap inspired by cracked concrete.<\/span><\/p>\n

What Do Casio & HUF Say About The Watch?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Casio’s website states that the desire was to create a custom watch which is timeless and wearable while still speaking to the heritage of both brands. HUF utilized the stylish and durable Casio G-Shock GD400<\/a> to produce a watch which can withstand the shock and stress of skateboarding.<\/span><\/p>\n

Keith Hufnagal stated that, \u201cI used to skate for G-SHOCK back in the day and we always carried their watches at our original HUF shops in San Francisco and Los Angeles, so I was very happy when the opportunity arose to work together on a project that would speak to both our brands through one collaborative piece.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When Will The Watch Be Released<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Casio G-Shock GD400HUF-1 will be released in May 2015 and will cost $190 (approx \u00a3129.57).<\/span><\/p>\n
