Stripes are a trend that have been around for decades. This fashion trend has been shaped by history. Back during the medieval ages, stripes came with negative associations and those deemed as social outcasts would be forced to wear them. Of course the connotations of stripes evolved into one of the most popular fashion patterns and this began with designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier.
