The NEW Sinn 206 ARKTIS II Is The Latest From The German Watchmakers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We have already seen the announcement of the new Sinn 6012 Rose Gold Anniversary<\/a> Frankfurt Financial District watch at Baselworld 2019<\/a>, and now we are getting our first look at the new Sinn 206 ARKTIS II too!<\/p>\n

It was 20 years ago in 1999 when Sinn watches<\/a> introduced us to a special new timepiece, in the form of the 203 ARKTIS, which was the very first diving chronograph that featured temperature resistance technology. This was a groundbreaking timepiece that was able to guarantee the functional reliability of the watch from temperatures between \u2011\u00a045\u00b0C and +\u00a080\u00b0C. This brand new Sinn 206 ARKTIS II celebrates this innovative watches 20th anniversary, and to mark this landmark it has now been announced at Baselworld<\/a>!<\/p>\n

\"Sinn<\/p>\n

The Sinn team wanted to make sure that the latest model stayed true to the original, so the\u00a0206 ARKTIS II still features a blue dial with sunburst decoration, and still maintains the same screw push-piece look that the original had! However, thanks to Sinn’s D3 System, the screwable push-pieces are not actually required on the new model in a functional fashion, however the team decided that it would be best to keep them as an aesthetic element to stay true! This makes for an easily operational chronograph, which fits perfect;y inside the slightly larger 43mm case, rather than the 42mm of the 1999 version.<\/p>\n

This model retains is dive watch status in impressive fashion too, with pressure resistance up to 30 bar (300m), which has been certified by DNV GL, which is perfectly supported by its Ar-Dehumidifying technology and the captive divers bezel with minute ratcheting. This may be water resistant to 300m but the watch still maintains that feel of luxury, with sapphire crystal glass in the front and in the case back which offers a view in to the technical movement. The watch has been tested\u00a0 based on European diving equipment standards and certified by DNV\u00a0GL<\/a>, an international accredited registrar and classification society headquartered in H\u00f8vik, Norway<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
