Like past variations of the Max Bill, the design of these four new models is based on the guiding principles of Max Bill, with simplicity and precision the characteristic elements of a good design.<\/p>\n

This means that, the form of the dial is created in such a way that each tiny detail is thought through thoroughly. The minimalist hands and hour markers are laid out with absolute concision, each piece has its own place in the puzzle.<\/p>\n

The new JUNGHANS max bill MEGA unites precision in design and technology.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u00a0In order to guarantee absolute precision everywhere, Junghans have introduced the brand new J101 radio-controlled movement for this new range of watch, which is available in 4 different variations as shown above. The all new J101 movement, which is also used in the brand new Meister MEGA, is comprised of 146 components. Every single one of which is tested to the strictest precision criteria.<\/p>\n

Junghans have recently stated that the plate for example, has been tested in their factory at 1,462 measuring points to an accuracy of 5 micrometers, which is extremely impressive. This may seem like a lot of effort for each individual component, but the results show on the timepiece as a whole.<\/p>\n

Impressively, over three continents the time is received via a time signal with a deviation of just 0.006 seconds in one million years. Even outside of the reception range it will continue to run automatically with a\u00a0maximum time deviation of 8 seconds a year. Junghans have been able to provide even closer accuracy via\u00a0the SHM technology (Smart Hand Motion), which makes sure that the watch is even more precise, thanks to the half-second steps of the second hand.<\/p>\n
