The Clipper round the world race is in full swing and the race is entering its final months with boats all competing for the best times to boost them ahead of the rest. Elliot Brown watches have sponsored the race for the last two consecutive years and have loved every second of it. Each team of sailors aren’t experienced professionals but are real working professionals such as firemen and women, office workers, construction workers and more . They take up the incredible challenge of sailing round the world with minimal experience with huge determination and is not something to be undertaken lightly.<\/p>\n

We were honoured to be invited to the launch of the race in Liverpool and got to board one of the boats that Elliot Brown had covered in their limited edition watch, you can read all about the build up to the event here<\/a>. Elliot Brown also had an ambassador who was braving the deep blue named James Macfee<\/a>\u00a0who met us on board and gave us a tour of the entire vessel, his courage and excitement for the challenge was extremely admirable.<\/p>\n

The boats in the race are DARE TO LEAD,\u00a0GARMIN, GREAT BRITAIN,\u00a0GREENINGS,\u00a0HOTELPLANNER.COM, LIVERPOOL 2018,\u00a0NASDAQ,\u00a0PSP LOGISTICS,\u00a0QINGDAO,\u00a0SANYA SERENITY COAST,\u00a0UNICEF and\u00a0VISIT SEATTLE. Unicef is currently in First place closely followed by Sanya Serenity Coast and then Great Britain in third place.
