The Collection

The watches within the Luminox Pacific Diver Chrono collection are designed to be appealing casual timepieces for outdoor explorers. Every detail of these watches has been considered to make them the perfect companion for divers. The Pacific Diver Chrono will be valuable to both professional divers and those who dive as a hobby. The collection gained its name as Luminox has deep ties with the Pacific. The brand was founded in San Rafael, California and has been based there ever since. Luminox has been producing watches for all kinds of people and professionals since 1989, giving the brand decades of experience in creating high-quality timepieces. This experience is invaluable when creating diver’s watches as accurate timekeeping is a matter of life and death when underwater.

The Watches

Each of the Luminox Pacific Diver Chrono watches has a very similar look. The design is available in a wide range of bold and eye-catching colours that make them perfect for both underwater and everyday wear. The design combines a stainless steel case with a Carbonox bezel to give the watches a unique look.

The Dial and Case

Each timepiece features a chronograph function on the dial alongside a date aperture, providing plenty of functionality. Bold baton hour markers and silver hands ensure the dial is easy to read. The dial can be read in all light conditions due to the Constant Glow detailing on this watch. This feature means that the details of the dial will glow for up to 25 years. These features are protected by a lens that is made from anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Each dial is framed by a black unidirectional rotating bezel that is made from Luminox’s Carbonox material. The brand prides itself on this material being both lightweight and durable. The stainless steel case of the watch measures 44mm in diameter and 12mm in thickness. This size ensures that the dial is large enough to be read easily on a dive, whilst remaining comfortable to wear on the wrist.

The Strap and Finishing Touches

The majority of the watches are secured on the wrist using a strap made from genuine rubber. However, there are stainless steel bracelet options available. Both materials have their benefits. Rubber is very water-resistant and will be comfortable to wear on a dive. A stainless steel bracelet adds an elegant edge to the practical design of the timepieces, making them suitable to wear for a more formal occasion. Additionally, the watches in this collection are water-resistant up to 200 metres. This makes them suitable for most water-based activities. This level of water resistance is enhanced by the protected screw-in double security gasket crown.
